Eden Brothers has an amazing selection of seeds. Across almost every category of vegetable, flower, bulbs, and more, they’ve managed to inventory over 1,500 different varieties. It’s hard to not find what we’re looking for. Examples (based on their website search engine count):
- Pepper seeds: 69+ varieties
- Flower bulbs: 350+ varieties
- Wildflowers: 30+ varieties
- Tomatoes: 70+ varieties
- And the list goes on
In addition to a wide selection, pricing seems to be on the lower end of what we see with other competitors. Shipping is reasonable priced (and often free) and items ship quickly in our experience. All-in-all, Eden Brothers Seed Company is one of our favorite online seed retailers.

Eden Brothers generally charges for shipping except in a couple scenarios. 1) Orders over $79 ship for free and 2) Shipping on specific days is free with coupon codes which are delivered via their email newsletter. We generally find shipping to be reasonably priced and orders generally seem to ship quickly.

Unfortunately this company can’t seem to get it right with Elephant ears. This is the second year I’ve bought from them. Last year the products they sent weren’t what I ordered. Their comment was that the warehouse must have made a mistake. Also found it rude and wrong that when I reviewed each of these items on their site they didn’t post the review.

Love their dahlias! Eden is my go to for Dahlia bulbs.
Website descriptions are off and poor customer service. My advice is to get your seeds somewhere else.
I shopped Eden Bros. for seeds for the first time this spring. After ten days the seeds have not arrived. Eden provided no shipping tracking number so there is no way to check on the order.. I’ve called three times. They do not answer and do not return calls. I’m now filing a complaint with my bank to acquire a refund. Too many recommended seed companies around to waste your time with a company that does not communicate or care about customer satisfaction.

*Refuses to post negative reviews.
* Both Daylilies and Dahlia have arrived with broken up, dead roots. Their solution: Store credit but who wants to try again?
* Seeds may not germinate (no response from them) OR not meet their product listing in terms of volume/weight. Yes, they’ll send more “shorted” seed packets IF you post negative reviews immediately; otherwise, nothing. Who opens their fall-ordered seed packets right away???
* Waste of time and money
I ordered bare root poppies in December this year they sent them out fast. I kept in refrigerator till feb. got them in. They were large healthy roots I am very happy with this company I also ordered 150 tiger lily bulbs they are still in my fridge. They too are big and healthy. I will always buy from eden bro’s. Excellent product at great price. I’m very happy. I will buy more soon

Of 4 items I bought, dahlia tubers (2) 3 seed packs. The dahlias were mislabeled (they blamed the warehouse) as was one packet of seeds, so 50% of the order was wrong. They only offered to refund the dahlias and wouldn’t ship them to me, because I had used a coupon code for shipping. They owe me $18.90 in product, but will only give me $14.95 and they want me to pay $9.99 shipping for their mistake. I’ve emailed and they just keep arguing with me. Possibly some of the worst customer service I’ve ever gotten, and especially sad from a seed company.

Unable to fulfill order – placed order for fall bulbs that were “shipping now” in early October. As of early November they haven’t shipped and are unable to provide a shipping date beyond “maybe next week”. Missed my window for fall planting and it’s too late to source anywhere else so I’ll have a nice patch of empty dirt to remind me of their failures. Very disappointing.
