Burpee is one of the few online retailers to offer the full array of not only seeds, but gardening supplies, started kits, and much more. While there are a number of seed companies operating online, not all offer this expansive of product line. Examples (based on their website search engine count):

In addition to an enormous selection of products for your garden, Burpee.com’s pricing seems to bemid-range compared other competitors such as Eden Brothers. Shipping is reasonable priced (and often free on orders over $20) and items ship quickly. In summary, burpee.com is one of our favorite online seed retailers in terms of being a one-stop shop for seeds and gardening needs.

I ordered two different types of garlic last year for planting in the fall of 2018. I planted as I do every year but did not have a very good crop year. When I contacted Burpee about my problem they immediately wanted to either give me a refund or give me a chance to reorder the the garlic. In the end I did make another order and Burpee gave me a refund.

I’ve got a bit of feedback on Burpee. Selection, price, great. Just not loving the results in my garden. I also wasn’t sure if the seeds i was buying were GMO.
I’m not impressed. I was sent the wrong seeds with someone else’s shipping information on them. Called and was told it had been fixed already and my seeds will be shipped.Still waiting patiently for the seeds I ordered almost 2 weeks ago.

I have been ordering from Burpee for many years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their products. However, we were very disappointed this year in their shipping. I put in an order on March 2 and it was processed March 4. Today is March 12 and I still have not received my seeds (we had hoped to do some planting today). Apparently the initial shipping was by UPS, and the tracking information stated the package would be delivered March 10. On March 11, we found out that meant it would be delivered to the USPS on March 10, and so there was another tracking number for that. The item was supposedly “out for delivery” March 12, but it did not arrive. Burpee, you need to do better than this for a simple order.
